Aldine (Dee) Foster, born on September 19, 1939, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and raised in Emsworth, PA, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2026, at home in North Wales, PA . She lost her battle with Alzheimer’s and Dementia, but was very well taken care of by her youngest daughter right until the end.
Dee and her beloved husband, Ken, were longtime residents of Chalfont, PA, where they raised their family over the course of 50 years. Dee was a proud graduate of Avonworth High School, Class of 1957. Following her graduation, she worked as a secretary but dedicated much of her life to raising her family. She and Ken built a loving family that includes their four children: Teri Edwards (Bruce) of Nicholson, PA; Tracey Mullen of North Wales, PA; Matthew Foster of Horseheads, NY; and Becky Foster of North Wales, PA. Dee was the proud grandmother of six grandchildren—Bryce, Michael, Scott, Tori, Jillian, and Tanner—and four great-grandsons: Chase, Everett, Ashton, and Bentley. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ken Foster, her parents as well as a brother.
Dee never missed her children’s activities and was a dedicated Central Bucks West band parent. She enjoyed spending time traveling with her husband, friends and family, sewing, singing and painting. Dee made many friendships through her work in the Central Bucks School District, the CBW band parents organization and her many trips trapshooting and skiing. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew her. May her legacy bring comfort to those who mourn her passing.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 Pm on Saturday, March 28, 2026, Reed & Steinbach Funeral Home, 2335 Lower State Road, Doylestown, where relatives and friends will be received from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. Interment in Washington Crossing National Cemetery will held privately.
