Bernard S. Carlen, III, of Souderton, passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Souderton Mennonite Home. He was 80 and the husband of Robin (Snyder) Carlen.

Born in Doylestown, he was the son of the late Mildred Schell and Bernard Carlen, Jr.

In addition to his wife, survivors include his son, Bernard Carlen, IV, his wife, Christine, his grandson, Adam Bernard, as well as his brother, Alan Dale, his wife, Bonnie. Bernard was preceded in death by his brother, Larry.

Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service 11 a.m. Monday, December 17, 2018 at St. Peter’s Covenant Church, 1006 Hilltown Pike, Hilltown Township, where the family will receive guests from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow in St. Peter’s Union Cemetery, Hilltown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bernard’s name to: Alzheimer’s Association, 399 Market Street, Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
