Brian S. Craig

With deep sadness, we share the sudden and unexpected passing of our beloved Brian~

Brian Stephen Craig gained his angel wings on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, much too soon for his amazing spirit, vibrant personality, and heart of gold. Brian was a loving son, brother, friend, nephew, and cousin. His life has touched so many in his 52 years of life, and we miss his presence in the world already. He was full of life, ambition and fun with the ability to bring humor to everything.

Brian was born on Thursday, April 18, 1974 at the old Doylestown Hospital, located on Belmont and Spruce Street. He lived with his parents, two brothers and sister in Buckingham, until the age of almost two, when his family relocated to Clear Lake, Texas. He stayed in Texas, until moving back to Doylestown in 1984, when his father was transferred again. He had attended Ed White Elementary in Seabrook Texas, and moved halfway thru 4th grade, where he finished his school year at Gayman Elementary. He then went to Holicong Middle School and graduated in 1992, from Central Bucks East. Once he was off to the University of Utah, he developed a love for the west coast. He graduated with a degree in Parks and Recreation, although his gift of conversation became his career in staffing. He met and married in 1999 and they moved to San Diego. Later he moved to Severna Park, Maryland to run a business with his older brother, then moved to Manayunk for a short time. He was called and hired by a former employee in San Diego, wanting him to join their big company, so once again he headed back to his Cali home. Anything that involved conversation, and this quickly provided him with a successful career in staffing. He shared his own motivations with clients, bringing them into companies that he worked for. In 2011, he worked for Cox Enterprises as a Senior Talent Acquisition Coordinator until 2020. He moved to Severna Park, Maryland, where he opened and owned an office in Greenbelt, MD. He worked as a Lead Recruiter for Express Employment International until it closed in 2021, post CoVid. He returned to San Diego to work for Viasat Inc. as a Senior Technical Recruiter from 2021 to 2023. From 2023-2024, he worked as a Senior Technical Recruiter for Lucid Motors. Following, he secured his final position with SOLV Energy as a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner. As he thrived with each position throughout his career, he will be especially missed by his co-workers. So many of them have asked for details of his “Celebration of Life” in hopes that they are able to celebrate with us.

Brian’s energy, humor, desire for adventure, and strong ability to be independent, started from the beginning. He was always surprising his family with his adventures including skateboarding, skiing/snowboarding, mountain climbing, and travel. He loved Costa Rica and saw many places in the world, satisfying his passions with weekend trips and vacations, between work. Brian absolutely loved dogs and over the years, was a frequent caretaker for his best friend’s. They lived next door and this was an additional bonus to his “roommates” that became his family over the years. He also kept close bonds with other friends in SD, even those he went to school with here in Doylestown. He had a gift to entertain a room, from as early as him reciting the entire “Muppet Movie” script. He captured the attention of, and made friends wherever he went. He was a HUGE Philadelphia sport fan, oozing with excitement when his teams were on, even including his celebratory FLYERS bar he discovered in SD years ago. He especially frequented it, because the owner was a Philly transplant. He was one of a kind, with a love for life and experiences which expanded his storytelling. Brian had such a good soul and will be greatly missed, as he leaves us with the memories we hold tight.

After hearing of this great loss, the calls and messages with words describing what Brian meant to them, are beyond beautiful. He was an entertainer and could make friends wherever he went. Even in his adult years, “Brain” as his friends on the east coast called him, have reached out expressing their love for the amazing person he was and the happiness he brought to their world. BRIAN, may you rest in peace and celebrate with us, the life you lived.

Brian is survived by his loving parents, Leo and Marie (nee Bruno) Craig, eldest brother David (Karen), brother Jimmy (Gavin), sister Kathleen, his nephew Colton, nieces Cosette, Scarlet, and Connor Craig, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents Leo and Anna Craig, Dominic and Rita Bruno and niece, Katie Craig.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 11:00 AM, Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 5194 Cold Spring Creamery Road, Doylestown. Visitation will be held from 10:00 - 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Doylestown Cemetery.
