Charles A. Phillips

Charles A. Phillips, affectionately known as Chuck, passed away on January 30, 2026, at Doylestown Hospital, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on July 26, 1947, in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, where he spent much of his life. Chuck was a beloved husband, father, and cherished friend to many.

Chuck's early education began at Buckingham Elementary, followed by his graduation from Central Bucks West High School. He continued his academic journey, earning a Bachelor of the Arts from the University of Miami, a testament to his dedication to learning and personal growth.

In the 1980s, Chuck made a name for himself in the business world as the owner and operator of a jewelry store called "As You Like It," located in Doylestown. His passion for the industry led him to venture abroad to Sierra Leone, Africa, where he engaged in diamond mining, further expanding his expertise in precious stones. After returning to the United States in the early 1990s, Chuck joined The Quigley Corporation. It was during his time there that he became one of the founding members of the popular pharmaceutical product Cold Eeze, contributing significantly to its success and impact on health and wellness. Chuck continued to work with dedication until his retirement in 2009. 

Chuck is survived by his loving wife, Kate Phillips, and their two devoted sons, Sean Phillips and Ryan Phillips. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles B. Phillips, and his mother, Anne Phillips.

A viewing will be held on February 5, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Reed & Steinbach Funeral Home located at 2335 Lower State Road, Doylestown, PA, 18901. A Mass in celebration of Chuck’s life will take place on February 6, 2026, at 12:30PM in the chapel at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa, located at 654 Ferry Road, Doylestown, PA, 18901(Please proceed through cemetery entrance and continue straight to locate the chapel.)

Throughout his life, Chuck touched many hearts with his kindness, humor, and unwavering spirit. He will be profoundly missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
