Doylestown

Dee Ann Lee (Elliott) Woodall of Doylestown, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully in the presence of loved ones on September 26, 2025 at the age of 86 years old. She was the wife of her beloved Marvin.

Born in Perry, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of the late W.P. “Bill” Elliott and Gayle (Purdy) Elliott. Her sister Billie Gayle (Elliott) Eastin preceded her to our Lord on December 9, 1998, at the age of 57.

Dee Ann graduated from high school in Perry, Oklahoma, where she excelled as a champion baton twirler in the high school band as well as the Band Queen during her senior year. She attended the University of Oklahoma, earning a Bachelor of Science in Education in 1960. During her time at OU, she was an active member of the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority, when she met and eventually married Marvin in July 1960. They began their life together in Lubbock, Texas, marking the first of their 14 moves. Dee Ann was a devoted wife and mother, creating a warm and welcoming home in each place they lived while successfully raising their family. She was always the first to invite her children's friends over for social gatherings. After settling in Doylestown in 1985, Dee Ann and Marvin joined Doylestown Presbyterian Church. She dedicated herself to several organizations, serving as President of the Village Improvement Association (VIA) at Doylestown Hospital and Vice President Alumnae of Alpha Gamma Delta International. Dee Ann was always ready to listen and lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Her philanthropic efforts will have a lasting impact on the region. She enjoyed reading, coloring books, doing crossword puzzles, traveling with Marvin and her family, and collecting dolls from around the world. Dee Ann was an excellent cook who loved listening to jazz music and attending theater performances, especially at the Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope. She was a passionate fan of the University of Oklahoma Sooners sports teams.

She was the loving caretaker for her mother for many years at her cottage on their property.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two children: Mark Woodall and Amy (Todd) Carroll; Grandchildren: Ashleigh Woodall, Katherine (Mitchell) Cotter, William (Amanda) Woodall, Emily (Matthew) Davidson, Anna (Pearson) Brown, Matthew (Matheson) Carroll; Great grandchildren: Leighton and Tucker Davidson, William and Shepard Woodall.
