Edith Ann Knapp
Edith Ann Knapp of Perkasie, formerly of Plumsteadville / Doylestown, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, February 19, 2026. She was a young 88 years old. She was the wife of Dennis E. Knapp who passed away 9 years prior.
“Ann” is survived by her two daughters: Dawn Przyuski (Thomas) and Wendy Knothe (Paul). She is also survived by her grandchildren Andrew Przyuski (Marina), Melissa Przyuski-Steinly (Ben), Alyson Buehrle (Andy), and Christina Bruner (Chris), along with three great grandchildren: Sofia and Liana Przyuski and Meera Buehrle.
She was born in Lower Moreland on May 1, 1937, to the late Nellie and Jim Briggs and was pre-deceased by two sisters; Rebecca May Briggs and Muriel Phy.
She was a stay-at-home Mom until her daughters started school and then worked for over 30 years at the Daily Intelligencer Newspaper in Doylestown until she retired. Ann was a member of Christ Community Bible Church while living in Plumsteadville, left when moving to Doylestown, and then returned to CCBC when she moved to Perkasie. She also loved Lillies of the Valley and always had them planted around her home. Her hobbies were quilting and counted cross stitching. But her favorite activity was spending time with her family.
Funeral Services will be next Thursday, February 26th here at the church. The Calling hour begins at 10:00 am, the service will be at 11:00 am, followed by a luncheon at 12:00 pm.
