Edward J. Schwartz, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and devoted family man, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2026, in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. Born on June 5, 1934, Edward lived a life marked by dedication, generosity, and a remarkable skill set that touched everyone who knew him.
A proud United States Army Veteran, Edward’s commitment to service and hard work extended far beyond his military years. He built a fulfilling career in plumbing and electrical installation and servicing, where his talent for fixing anything and his dependable nature earned him great respect. Edward’s workshop was more than just a place of work—it was a sanctuary where he delighted in tinkering , metal work, and woodworking, passions that reflected his creativity.
Outside of his professional life, Edward’s heart was full of joy found in his hobbies and interests. He was an avid enthusiast of antique engines and cars, often attending shows that celebrated these mechanical treasures. His love for travel and camping created many cherished memories, shared with friends and family who valued their time together exploring new places and relishing the beauty of the outdoors. Music also held a special place in his life, accompanying many moments of happiness.
Edward’s life was profoundly enriched by his family, whom he regarded as his proudest accomplishment. He leaves behind his devoted wife, June Carole Schwartz, and their children, Ronald Edward Schwartz and Lori Ann Uba, along with their partners, Wendy Schwartz and Matthew Snyder, who were a continual source of support and love. His grandchildren—Jaime Schwartz and her husband Mike Novelli; Taylor Schwartz; Carly DeLeone and her spouse Nick DeLeone ; and Donna Snyder—brought immense pride and joy to Edward’s life. His generosity extended beyond his immediate family to include a close circle of friends with shared passions, as well as his beloved sister, Eleanor Wukovits, nieces, nephews, and their families.
Edward was preceded in death by his loving parents, Leona and John Schwartz Sr., and his brothers Joseph Schwartz and John Schwartz Jr., whose memories he honored throughout his life.
Known for his hardworking spirit and unyielding dedication, Edward was a man who could fix anything with skill. His willingness to lend a hand, whether to family or friends, was a testament to his generous soul. Those who knew him remember a man who was not only dependable and dedicated but also warm-hearted . His legacy is etched deeply in the lives of those he touched—through his craft, his passions, and his unwavering love.
