Janis Lynn (Doerner) Hoelzle, 54, of Furlong, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, August 30th, 2026.
Janis was born to Erwin and Elsie Doerner on August 12th, 1972, in Huntingdon Valley, PA. She attended school in the Lower Moreland School District, graduating high school in 1990 before continuing her education at La Salle University in Philadelphia. Janis was also a lifelong active member of the New Apostolic Church in Doylestown.
In June of 1995, Janis married her senior prom date and love of her life, Rich Hoelzle, and pursued a professional career working as a Compliance Officer at Coventry Direct. Janis progressed in her career until the birth of her children, Luke (May 2005) and Claudia (May 2012). In addition to her children, Janis was a loving mother to several pampered English Bulldogs over the years.
Janis was revered for her sharp wit, quick retorts, practical jokes, artistic creativity and word game dominance. She was happiest when spending time with her family in Ocean City, NJ.
Janis was preceded in death by her father (Erwin Doerner), mother (Elsie Doerner), brother (John Doerner) and sister (Joyce Selby).
Janis is survived by her devoted husband, Rich, beloved children Luke and Claudia, loving sister Lori (Doerner) Wright, bulldogs Archie and Grace, and a large and tight-knit extended family.
A memorial service is scheduled for September 19th at the New Apostolic Church at 404 Pine Run Rd., Doylestown, PA 18901. Visitation begins at 9:00 AM followed by a service at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations honoring Janis’ life and memory can be made to the Bucks County SPCA.
