Joseph M. Babinetz

Joseph M. Babinetz of Doylestown, formerly of Lansford, PA, passed away suddenly on January 25, 2026. He was the son of the late Bernard Babinetz and Blanche Babinetz.

He is survived by his son James Alexander Babinetz and his loving wife Alice Anne Babinetz (Andress). He is also survived by one brother, Bernard Jr (Gail Neiswinder) of Palo Alto and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Joseph was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Bedminster where he found peace and caring among the members of the church. He was a graduate of Marion Catholic High School and Penn State University.

His career path took a few turns, as he began his work as a geologist at Carson Services for twenty four years. He left that position to pursue a career in teaching. He began teaching Geology at Northampton Community College, followed by several years in various middle schools in Central Bucks School District and Pennridge School District.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm at St. Matthews Lutheran Church, 3668 Ridge Road, in Perkasie (Bedminster), PA where friends and family can share memories of Joe. Buriel will be private at the family’s discretion. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Matthews Lutheran Church 3668 Ridge Road, Perkasie, Last Chance Ranch, Beck Road in Quakertown, or the organization of your choice.
