Joseph P. MacAniff

Joseph Patrick MacAniff, also known as Joe, Joe Pat, Dad, Pop, and Uncle Joe, was a humble, funny, deeply faithful man. He was born to Joseph Driscoll and Betty Kramer MacAniff in Doylestown, PA where he spent the entirety of his life. He married his high school sweetheart, Kathleen O'Neill, on June 8, 1963 and they celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary this past June.

Joe was deeply loved by his four daughters, Patty MacAniff Bergiven, Eileen MacAniff, Laurie MacAniff Zila, and Mary Taloricco and her husband, Fran. He was adored by his grandchildren Kelli Mills and her husband Mike, Patrick Bergiven and his wife Kelsey, Owen Zila, Luke Zila, Jacob Taloricco, Thomas Taloricco and his fiancée Hannah Kushner, and Kyra Taloricco. He was also the proud great grandfather of Jack and Jett Mills. He was preceded in death by his brother, James MacAniff.

Joe instilled in his family a love for the outdoors, a generosity of spirit, and prioritizing family above all else. He will be deeply missed, yet those values he exemplified will live on in those whose souls he touched.

The family invites those who wish to celebrate the life of Joe to join them for visitation between 9:30am-10:30am on Friday, August 21, 2026 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church at 235 East State Street, Doylestown, PA 18901. The funeral mass will commence at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Joe's name to Covenant House PO Box 758636 Topeka, KS 66675-8636.
