Katherine Paige Craig, affectionately known as Katie, was born on November 4, 2000, in Annapolis, MD, and left us far too soon on September 14, 2025, in Tampa, FL, due to complications from diabetes and Addison's disease. Katie's life, though brief, was filled with moments of brilliance, humor, and adventure that left a lasting impact on the hearts of all who knew her.
As a nursing student in St. Petersburg, Florida, Katie embodied the spirit of compassion and determination, aspiring to care for others with the same passion she put into every aspect of her life. Her big heart and bright personality made her not just a cherished friend but an inspiration to many. Katie had a unique ability to light up any room with her infectious smile and sense of humor, often leaving those around her laughing and uplifted.
Katie was not only dedicated to her studies but also to her beloved dog Bean. The bond they shared was a testament to her nurturing nature and her love for all living beings. Her love for adventure often led her to explore new places and experiences, filling her life with stories and memories that will be treasured by her family and friends.
Katie leaves behind her loving family, including her father Jimmy Craig, mother Gavin Craig, and sister Connor Craig. She was a beloved granddaughter to Leo and Marie Craig, and Harry and Joan Poole. Katie is remembered by her uncles David and Brian, and aunts Kathy and Courtney, all of whom will miss her dearly.
A viewing in celebration of Katie’s life will be held on Friday September 26, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Reed and Steinbach Funeral Home, located at 2335 Lower State Road, Doylestown, PA. Though Katie has departed from this world, the warmth of her smile and the determination she embodied will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She is remembered with love, and the legacy of her kind spirit will continue to inspire all who had the privilege to know her. Rest in peace, dear Katie.
