Margaret M. Evans

Margaret (Mickey) Evans, 90, passed away on July 11, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 2, 1935, she was raised on Valleyview Farm in Doylestown alongside her nine siblings. She was a lifelong resident of the Doylestown area, where she built a beautiful life and also raised her own family. Mickey worked at Buckingham Elementary School and later retired from the Buckingham Post Office. 

An artist at heart, Mickey was passionate about painting and belonged to a local painting club. She poured her love into her artwork. Handcrafting countless gifts for those she cherished and creating special ornaments for Doylestown Hospital's Christmas tree. She fondly remembered her younger years spent cruising the Chesapeake with the love of her life on their boat. The "Fuzzy Navel". Her sewing machine was rarely quiet. She made her children's clothing and stitched custom curtains and pillows for the home. From knitting to embroidery there was nothing her skilled hands could not create.  Above all, her greatest joy was her family. She treasured every moment spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mickey was predeceased in death by her beloved husband of 68 years, Donald Evans, as well as her three daughters, Karen Welsh, Susan Jacobs, Michele Kleckner, and her son Donald Evans II. She leaves behind her loving children John Evans (Connie), Audrey Carver, Lauren Emmett (Michael), Peter Evans, and Valerie Pugliese (Vincent), along with many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are welcome to celebrate her life on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Doylestown, Pennsylvania. Visitation begins at 9:30 am with a Funeral Mass following at 10:30 am. She will be laid to rest at Beulah Cemetery, New Britain, Pennsylvania.
