Mary Anne Stryker passed away peacefully on Sept 14, 2026, she was 86.

Born in London, Ontario Canada to Honora and Firm Holland.  Raised in Waterloo Ontario, she earned her teaching certificate from Stratford Teachers College where she was on the advisory board and Queen of the Alumni Ball.  She taught her first class at the age of 19, 1959.  She met her future husband Julius BB Stryker III (Jube) at Thunder Beach, Ont Canada. They married in 1960 and moved back to his home town in Doylestown, Pa.

Mary Anne became a teacher at Our Lady of Mount Carmel from 1967 to 1969.  She earned her Bachelors Degree in Education at Temple University in 1974.  She joined the Central Bucks School District in 1973 serving until 2001, teaching at both Pine Run and Linden Elementary Schools.

Mary Anne had many talents and interests; Politics, playing the piano by ear, cultivating her beautiful garden, photography and crafting.  Most of all her compassion and empathy for her family, friends and community is what she will be remembered for.

She is preceded in death by her husband Jube, who after he experienced a life altering stroke, she cared for him with grace and dignity until his death 14 years later.  She is also proceeded in death by her brother James and her sister Margaret (Peggie).  Mary Anne is survived by her loving daughters Julie Stryker Santiago and her husband David; Margi Stryker Tettemer and her husband Keith.  She loved her 5 Grandchildren; Kristen, Andrew, Kate, Stephen and Cassie, and their spouses, along with her 4 Grands, Ella, Dylan, Evie and Vale.  She is also survived by her sister in law Patricia Holland and her brother in law Stephen Stryker, and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at Reed and Steinbach Funeral Home 2335 Lower State Road Doylestown, Pa, on Saturday Oct, 3, 2026.  Visitation is from 10am to 11am with the Service to start at 11am.  Interment is private.
