Mary Trout

It is with heartfelt sadness that our Mother, Mary Agnes (Fulton) Trout has peacefully transitioned to be with the Lord, at her home, surrounded by family, at the beautiful age of 93. She was known to all as Molly. She was born in Philadelphia to Robert and Alice Fulton and moved around the world as a military family during the depression and World War II years. She graduated from Doylestown High School and married the love of her life Frank. 

Mary was a homemaker much of her life, raising six children. She was a longtime member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church with a passion for theology and living her values by volunteering her time and energy to many causes over the years.

She obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and a Master’s Degree in Holistic Spirituality after raising her family which was a life long goal of hers. She had an extensive book collection that would make any publisher proud.

Mary is predeceased by her husband Frank, her mother and father Alice and Robert Fulton and her daughter Anne. She is survived by her sons; James and Joseph and daughters; Catherine, Rosemary and Maureen; seven grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, Reed & Steinbach Funeral Home, 2335 Lower State Rd. Doylestown, where relatives and friends will be received from 10:30 until the time of the service. Interment will be in Doylestown Cemetery.
