Pamela E. Rockafellow, 67, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and friendship.
Born in Williamsport, PA to the late John and Nancy Ernst. Pam grew up in Doylestown, PA and was a life long resident. She graduated from Central Bucks High School West, then she became a proud alumni of Lycoming College.
Pam spent her career spreading joy - first at Love & Laughter Daycare, where she spent her day shaping young minds with patience and joy. Seeking a new way to care for others, she transitioned to the dental field, trading building blocks for dental charts, but keeping the same compassionate heart. Despite health challenges, she greatly enjoyed her post retirement by volunteering at Doylestown Hospital. Whether she was comforting a child or assisting a patient, her life was defined by her unwavering dedication to the well-being of everyone she met.
A woman who truly lived with a smile for everyone. Pam was happiest in the sun, especially summers at the Jersey Shore with a book in her hand as she was a voracious reader. She continued her grandfather’s football legacy as an avid Eagles fan. Pam possessed a great rare gift for connection, effortlessly maintaining lifelong bonds while constantly welcoming new friends into her circle. Whether she was lost in a book, enjoying her favorite music or whipping up a meal for family and friends, her warmth was the constant heartbeat of her home.
She is survived by her husband, Peter L. Rockafellow, and their son, Nick Rockafellow. Pam also leaves behind her brothers and their families, John Ernst (Meg) and Jim Ernst (Lynn) and her brother-in-law, Daniel Rockafellow (Kevin) and sister-in-law, Kay Rockafellow. Her memory will be carried on by her nephews, nieces, grand nephew and grand nieces.
A celebration of life will occur at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in her name to Bucks County SPCA, 1665 Street Rd., New Hope, PA 18938.
