Pat passed away peacefully at Pine Run Community, in Doylestown PA on Monday, April 20, 2026. She was surrounded by her daughter Judy, son Ray and daughter-in-law Diane.
Pat was born in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey and grew up in North New Jersey. She married Raymond Lagomarsino in 1954 until his passing in 1982. She was remarried to John"Jack" Marshall in 1986, until his passing in 2003.
Pat graduated from Jersey City Hospital School of Nursing in 1953 and became a Registered Nurse. She practiced nursing for over 40 years caring for others in New Jersey, Michigan and Pennsylvania until she retired.
In 1977, she and her late husband, Ray, opened Mr. L’s Ferndale Hotel and Restaurant, where she maintained her nursing position at Doylestown Hospital while starting the adventure of restaurant and bar ownership. After four fun-filled years, she moved on to another restaurant adventure in Doylestown.
She had experienced her first heartbreak with the unexpected death of her first husband in 1982. They had 2 children, Judy and Ray. Pat continued to work as an RN at Doylestown Hospital as the charge nurse on 4 West, until she took her last position as Director of Nursing at Doylestown Manor. There she met her second husband, Jack Marshall, where they enjoyed travelling throughout the years.
Pat lived at the Pine Run Community for over 27 years and was the longest tenured resident there up until her death. She was an active resident at Pine Run, chairing the group that made teddy bears that were donated to Doylestown Hospital’s pediatric patients and participating in many functions and groups there for many years.
She also was a seamstress and worked restoration of the antique dresses for the Mercer Musuem. She was always involved in something and established some great friendships. She loved independence, socialization, the staff and the residents.
Pat lived in many places, but she always called home where her family was. She spent many hours attending sporting and social events for her children and grandchildren.
She always maintained a positive demeanor and never complained, even when struggling with health issues. She was an inspiring role model for all. She had a huge heart and a contagious smile, and always in for a good laugh. She loved being around her family and looked forward to weekly Sunday dinners enjoying a good home-cooked meal surrounded by 4 generations of family.
