It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Raymond A. Worthington, on February 19, 2026, at the age of 87. Born on April 16, 1938, Ray lived a life grounded in love for his family, pride in his work, and the unconditional joy found in the simple pleasures of life.

Ray’s professional journey took him to Lehigh Valley Dairy, where he applied his skills as a truck mechanic with diligence and care. He approached each day with a quiet determination and a readiness to tackle whatever challenges lay ahead. Those who worked alongside him often remarked about his reliability and the steady presence he brought into their lives.

A proud veteran, Ray served honorably in the Army. This experience shaped him into the man he was — disciplined, capable, and deeply committed to serving others. He carried those values with him throughout his life.

Known for his gentle spirit and dry sense of humor, Ray had a distinctive way of making those around him feel at ease. He was a quiet man, yet his kindness and warmth spoke volumes. Always with a smile, he brought light into the lives of family and friends alike, leaving an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Ray found immense fulfillment in tending to his lawn and gardens, ensuring they were always in immaculate condition. His dedication to maintaining his home extended to caring for the family vehicles. He was also a devoted sports enthusiast, passionately following his favorite teams, the Eagles and Phillies, which often became a source of lively conversation and bonding moments with his loved ones.

Above all, Ray took great pride in his family. He celebrated the accomplishments of his two daughters, Linda and Kathy, and found endless joy in the laughter and love of his grandchildren, Kristina and Cindy, as well as his great-grandson Jackson.

Ray is lovingly remembered by his surviving family, including his daughters Linda & Patrick Thomson and Kathy & Wayne Johnston, his siblings Donald Worthington, Betty Worthington, Barbara Marie Heal, and Lois Kling, his granddaughters Kristina Johnston and Cindy Johnston, and his great-grandson Jackson Johnston along with his many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Angie Worthington, along with his parents, Francis and Arthur Worthington. As we remember Ray, we cherish the gentle smile that brightened our days, the laughter that filled our hearts, and the unwavering support he provided to all of us. He will be profoundly missed, but his spirit will forever remain alive in the many memories we shared.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, February 28, 2026, Reed & Steinbach Funeral Home, where relatives and friends will be received from 9:30 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in Whitemarsh Memorial Park,
