Robert Taylor

Robert Taylor, a retired union electrician with IBEW Local 380, passed away on May 9, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on June 16, 1961, in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, Rob's career spanned over 20 years, during which he not only showcased his exceptional skill but also demonstrated extraordinary courage by saving a fellow member's life from a burning building. His legacy will forever be celebrated by those who worked alongside him.

Rob was known for his steadfast personality; he was stubborn yet kind, always willing to lend a hand to those in need. Proud of his family, he loved them deeply and made it a priority to be present in their lives. His hobbies included being an active member of the Cannoneers Sportsclub for more than two decades. He was also passionate about philanthropy, frequently donating to various youth sports organizations and sponsoring children facing financial hardships so they could attend competitions. Rob's contributions to the community were a true testament to his character and values.

He leaves behind his beloved daughters, Jamie Steiner (Eddie), Christine Taylor (Andrew), and Sheri Taylor. Rob is also survived by his cherished sisters, Carol McGough (Jim) and Peggy West (Ed), and brothers, Charles Taylor (Bonnie) and Don Taylor (Jannell). His legacy continues through his 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, who will carry forward the love and lessons he imparted throughout their lives.

Rob was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Taylor, and father, Choice Taylor. The impact he made on the lives of those around him will be felt for generations to come. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will remember him as a loving father, a devoted brother, and a steadfast friend.
