Robert Henry Elzerman Whitehead

Robert Henry Elzerman Whitehead, born on April 18, 1929, in the heart of New England, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2025, in Pipersville, Pennsylvania. His commitment to excellence and lifelong dedication to education were evident from an early age, as he pursued his studies at Norwich University in Northfield, Vermont, and further honed his business acumen at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.

Throughout his life, Robert was known for his remarkable intellect, warm demeanor, and unwavering resolve. He balanced an impressive career in business with deep, personal connections that enriched his life and the lives of those around him.

Robert was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jean Lois (Seymour) Whitehead, who was a cherished partner, companion, and confidante throughout their years together. Their enduring love and shared experiences greatly shaped the legacy he leaves behind.

He is survived by his caring son, James A. Whitehead, and devoted daughter, Linda A. Vahle, who, along with their families, continue to honor his memory. Robert's legacy shines brightly through his grandchildren: Steven R. Whitehead, Laura C. Squires, Nicole A. Fratto, and their respective partners. He also leaves behind six great-grandchildren: Xavier Whitehead, Sebastian Whitehead, and Kathryn and Edward Squires, all of whom were a source of joy and pride for him.

Robert Henry Elzerman Whitehead will be remembered not only for his significant accomplishments but also for the love and wisdom he imparted to his family, friends, and community. His life continues to resonate through the lives he touched, and his spirit will always be a beacon of inspiration for those who had the privilege to know him.

Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service at 11 a.m., Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at The Presbyterian Church of Deep Run, 16 Irish Meeting House Road, Perkasie.  There will be a visitation from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, December 8, 2025 at Reed and Steinbach Funeral Home, 2335 Lower State Road, Doylestown.  Interment will be private.
