Ross D. Peters, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Sunday, August 10, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospice House in Bethlehem, PA. He was born on May 6, 1953, in Doylestown, PA and grew up in Danboro, PA.
A graduate of Central Bucks High School East class of 1972, Ross excelled in diesel mechanics at the vocational school. He began his professional journey working for multiple local trucking companies before moving to Sybertsville, PA, where he ventured into long-distance trucking. His job allowed him to travel across many states accompanied by his four legged friends, experiencing the beauty of the country.
In earlier years he enjoyed motorcycle riding as a member of the Blue Comets and later served as a member in the Sugarloaf Fire Company. Ross held a special place in his heart for animals, treating his four dogs as his children and having a deep appreciation for all creatures.
Ross is survived by his sister, Alice Campbell, and brother-in-law, Steve Campbell. Their daughter and Ross's niece, Ashley Corradino, and her family. Ross was predeceased by his parents, Ruth and Joseph "Tex" Peters.
Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Reed and Steinbach Funeral Home, 2335 Lower State Road, Doylestown, where the family will greet guests from 10 a.m., until the time of the service.
