Virginia L. Waters

d. December 4, 2022

Virginia L. Waters of Buckingham died on Sunday December 4th, 2022. She was 78 years old and the wife of Richard L. Blenheim.
Born in Philadelphia, Virginia was the daughter of the late Clifford Nimon and Evelyn (Ewing) Nimon.

Virginia was active in her life and enjoyed riding her bike, cross-country skiing, going to the gym and walking. She enjoyed working outside and gardening with her husband. She also enjoyed traveling, particularly treasuring time spent each year in Edgartown, Martha’s Vineyard and visits to New England to spend time with her son, daughter-in-law and three of her grandchildren. She was a patient and nurturing mother and took special delight in her grandchildren. Her grandchildren were such an important part of her life and she enjoyed a truly special bond with each. Her gifts for curiosity, compassion, and connection allowed her to see the world from her grandchildren’s eyes and leave them feeling like they were the most loved and valued people in the world.

Virginia was able to enjoy the ordinary moments of life, creating meaning for those around her in walks on the tow path, trips to a favorite breakfast spot, and sitting home in front of a fire on a cold winter day. Those who knew her best described her as one of the kindest and most caring people they knew.

The latter half of her career was devoted to real estate, where she sold properties throughout Southeastern PA. She worked primarily for Kurfiss Sotheby’s International Realty, where she enjoyed many long-standing relationships with clients that frequently evolved into friendships. She began her career as a nurse and took particular pride in her role as a nurse educator, continually seeking out new and challenging areas to learn and then teach to her students.

In addition to her husband, Virginia is survived by her son, Erik Waters, his wife, Amy Forrer, of Concord, MA and their three children: Elsa, Olin and Alden; her sister, Nancy Eid, of Cherry Hill, NJ and her son-in-law, Christopher Blenheim, his wife, Melissa, of Plymouth Meeting and their son, Rowan.
