William "Bill" David Brown, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2026, in Perkasie, Pennsylvania. Born on December 29, 1944, in Abington, Pennsylvania, Bill's life was marked by service, devotion to family, and a passion for sports and community.
A proud graduate of Central Bucks in 1963, Bill answered the call of duty during a pivotal time in history. From 1964 to 1969, he served honorably in the United States Navy aboard the USS Forrestal. His commitment to his country reflected the strength and dedication that defined much of his life.
Bill's interests extended beyond his military service. He was an avid reader and enjoyed the game of golf, finding pleasure in its challenges and camaraderie. A devoted fan of Philadelphia sports teams, his heart especially belonged to the Phillies, whose games brought him endless joy and excitement.
Bill's family was the cornerstone of his life. He is survived by his beloved wife, Donna; his children, Tara Brown Mosheim and her husband Andrew, and Brian Brown and his wife Casey; his grandchildren, Kayla Sweet-Brown Savitz and her husband Jacob, Sienna Mosheim, and Azariyah Mosheim; and his great-grandson, Sawyer Savitz. Bill's legacy will live on through these family members, who knew him as a loving patriarch and steady presence.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Janet Tomilson Harton; his brother James Richard Brown; and his sister Lillian Clough. Their memories remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
Bill’s passing marks the loss of a man whose life was deeply woven into the fabric of his family and community. He will be remembered with respect and affection for his service, his passions, and the unwavering love he showed to those around him.
