Betty Monteleone

Betty Monteleone of Milville, New Jersey passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on December 22, 2023.   She was 80 years old on the loving wife of James Monteleone.

Betty was born in Elk Park, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Senia Harmon.

She went to high school at Cranberry High School and graduated in 1960. She worked as a restaurant consultant for more than twenty years specializing in the opening of restaurants for Westport Restaurants Association. She then worked in the Sales Control Department at Boscov’s for eighteen years.

She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, sewing, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.

In addition to her loving husband, Jim, Betty is survived by her daughter, Barbara Conicello (Gregory), her son, John Burch (Jamie), her eight grandsons: Chad Conicello (Jennifer), Brad Conicello (Becky), Derek Conicello (Madeline), Kevin Burch (Carli), Brian Burch (Amber), Christopher Burch, Tyler Burch, and Brandon Burch, as well as her six great-grandchildren: William Conicello, Samuel Conicello, James Conicello, Stevie Burch, Elizabeth Conicello, and Evelyn Conicello.

Relatives and friends are invited to her memorial service at 11 a.m., Friday, December 29 at Reed and Steinbach Funeral Home, 2335 Lower State Road, Doylestown, Pennsylvania, where the family will greet guests from 10 a.m., until the time of  the service.   Interment will be private in Doylestown Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Betty’s name may be made to:  St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105  (
