David D. Deem of Temple, Pennsylvania sadly left us on Friday, January 19, 2024 at Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was 75 years old and the husband of 54 years of Virginia “Ginny” Deem.

Born in Bryn Mawr, PA, he was the son of the late Robert B. Deem and Charlesa M. (Barrow) Deem.

Dave attended Central Bucks High School. He was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the Marines. He was vice president of an access control/security company, R3 Access. He was an avid fisherman. Dave was very adventurous and trailered his boat to the Florida Keys in the winter, and also cross country to the San Juan Islands. He loved traveling, but when home he enjoyed working outdoors maintaining his lawn and his gardens.

He was a loving father and grandfather who will be greatly missed.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Nathan D. Deem, Robert K. Deem and Kate E. and Mark F. McKee, five grandchildren: Winston Deem, Madisyn Deem, Dalia Deem, Molly McKee and Kaine McKee and his siblings: Lesle Greenwald, Kathe Conrad (Roger), Debby Lang, Richard Deem (Cheryl), Brigitta Deem-Kowacz (Paul), Bruce Deem, Maia Auteri (Joseph), and Meri McIlvaine d(Robert). He was predeceased by his sister, Maria Deem.

Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 27 at Reed and Steinbach Funeral Home, 2335 Lower State Road, Doylestown, where the family will greet guests from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Doylestown Cemetery.
