Dorothy “Dot” Veronica Noonan, a longtime resident of Jamison, formerly of Bronx, New York died on October 15, 2016 in Doylestown at 78 years young. Dot was the beloved wife for 58 years of Richard P. Noonan.
Born in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Helen Higgins Grogan.
Dot graduated from Cathedral High School in New York City. She worked most recently at the Doylestown Patriot, a job which she loved.
Happiness was spending time with her family and visiting with friends. She loved her winters in Florida. She rarely missed Tuesday night Bingo and enjoyed Atlantic City and Saratoga in August.
In addition to her husband, Dot is survived by her children: Richard (Ingrid), Linda Eagen (Mike) and Caren and her four grandchildren who she adored: Bryan Noonan, Keith Noonan, Melissa Eagen and Gabriel Eagen.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral Mass, 11 a.m., Friday, October 21 at St. Cyril of Jerusalem, 1410 Almshouse Road, Jamison, where the family will receive guests from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. The family will also receive guests from 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday, October 20 at Reed and Steinbach Funeral Home, 2335 Lower State Road, Doylestown.
