May 18, 2023

Hans Prunkel, 49 years old, of Ottsville, PA, passed away suddenly on May 18, 2023.

Hans was born to Jackie Prunkel of Haycock, PA and the late Alex Prunkel.

After graduating from Quakertown High School, he went on to join the Laborers Union, going on to become an Operating Engineer in 2001. He worked for James D. Morrissey for more than ten years. He loved big trucks and running every piece of equipment, the bigger the better.

In 1997, he met Jill, and they wed in 1999, going on to have two beautiful girls, Violet and Leila.

Hans was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they
deserved. Hans’ family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often
mentioned. Hans was unendingly proud of Violet, Leila and Jill and always tried his best to support them.

Hans was also an unbelievable friend to everyone he met and could often be found visiting and/or helping his friends when he wasn’t at home. He had a heart of gold and was loved by many. He loved to fish, hunt and kayak.

Anyone who knew Hans, knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for.
