Matthew Sohanic, of Warrington, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2019. He was 25.

Born in Doylestown, he was the son of Lisa (Welch) Sohanic (Mark Schmeltzer) and Michael Sohanic (Tricia).

Matthew graduated from William Tennent High School Class of ’11.

He enjoyed gaming with his brothers and friends and was a passionate Philadelphia sports fan. Even more so was his passion for those whom he loved – Matt would do anything for you. It didn’t matter who you were or where you were from, Matt accepted all people for whom they were.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers: Michael (Nicole) Sohanic, Ryan Sohanic; his sister: Kacey Sohanic; his maternal grandparent: James Nash Welch; his paternal grandparents: Michael (Linda) Sohanic and Karen (Ed) Mullaney; his step grandparent: Gerry D’Arcy; his nephew, Michael Matthew and his niece, Annabelle. He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Margaret Welch and his step-grandfather, Peter D’Arcy.

Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral Mass at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 856 Euclid Ave., Warrington, where the family will greet guests from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass. Interment will be private.
