Nancy H. Rimmer of Chalfont, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 16th at the age of 85. She was the wife of late Stanley H. Rimmer to whom she was married for 61 years.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy Hart.

Nancy is survived by her two children: Todd and Debbie.

Nancy graduated from Kutztown University and went on to be a school librarian, as well as an English / Reading Teacher for Centennial School District for more than 40 years. She was happiest being with young children teaching them to read and write.

After retirement, she and Stan loved to travel and visited many islands of the Caribbean with Long Beach Island and Bermuda being their favorite places. She volunteered at Salem United Church of Christ Women’s Club and ran the semiannual rummage drive for many years.

She was loving, kind, thoughtful and will be greatly missed.
