Richard A. Dlugosz, a resident of Doylestown for 36 years died on Wednesday, July 18, 2018. He was 67 years old and the husband of Judith A. Dlugosz for 35 years.

Born in Philadelphia he was the son of late Benedict and Helen Waligorski Dlugosz.

Rich was a student at Lansdale Catholic High School and college graduate at DeSales University. He worked many years in the insurance industry at Prudential Insurance Company and Munich Re-Insurance.

He had a passion for cars especially high performance BMWs. He was a fluid drum player. If you were ever at one of his barbecues, you got a taste of his love for that “char broiled” cooking.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brother, Jeffrey Dlugosz, his wife, Maureen, their two children: Michael and Michele and their families and brother, David Dlugosz, wife, Joy, their two daughters: Dana and Stefanie and their families.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 28 at Reed and Steinbach Funeral Home, 2335 Lower State Road, Doylestown.
