Sally L. Ladner

Sally Louise Ladner, of Pipersville, departed this earthly life on January 22, 2022 at the age of 75.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Peter Becker and Evelyn Benner.

Sally grew up in Pipersville and remained there throughout most of her life. She was a graduate of Palisades High School, class of 1964 and attended classes at Bucks County Community College.

Sally worked a nurse’s assistant at Briarleaf Nursing Home for many years. She loved caring for the residents and always treated them with dignity and respect. Later she worked as a bookkeeper at Campbell Agencies in Doylestown where she made many wonderful friends during her long tenure.

Sally spent much of her time at Rolling Hills United Methodist Church serving her God as a devoted Christian. Sally was always there to contribute in any way possible and participated in many activities such as choir, fundraising, women’s group, vacation bible school, bible study, etc. She also enjoyed listening to live Christian music at Daniel’s Den with her friends from the congregation.

She was a loving and supportive mother. Her grandsons were one of her greatest joys. She enjoyed taking them out for their birthdays, sharing the holidays with them and watching their football games and wrestling matches as they grew up.

Sally will be remembered for her caring and selfless nature. She always looked for the good in people and forgave those that may have failed her along the way. Sally was also a survivor that willed herself through some extremely difficult times in her life and always managed to keep a positive attitude. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Sally is survived by her daughter, Linay Haubert, (David), her grandsons: Nathan, Benjamin and Danny of Upper Black Eddy and her brother, Richard Becker, (Gertrude) of Oak Hill, FL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She is proceeded in death by her son, Robert Lewis Ladner, Jr. and her brothers: Robert and Charles Becker.

Her memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m., Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Rolling Hills United Methodist Church, 7028 Easton Road, Pipersville, PA 18947, where the family will greet guests from 11:30 a.m., until the time of the service. Interment will be private. Masks are strongly recommended.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rolling Hills United Methodist Church at the address above or a charity of the donor’s choice.
