William J. Constantine, Sr., of Doylestown, formerly of Stockton, NJ, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 12 at Neshaminy Manor. He was 89 and husband of the late Edith Suozzo Constantine.
Born in Doylestown, he was the son of the late Philip and Ethel Greer Constantine.
Bill graduated from Doylestown High School in 1946.
He lived most of his life in Stockton. He worked as a pressman for the Daily Intelligencer, beginning at the age of 25 until his retirement in 1992. He was an active member of Providence Reformed and Grace Covenant Baptist Churches.
He is survived by his son: William Constantine, Jr., of Flemington; his daughter: Sharon Hartman, her husband, Randall, of Pipersville; two grandsons: Brent Hartman, his wife, Michelle, of Doylestown and Derek Hartman, his wife, Samantha, of Florida; one great-granddaughter: Helena, as well as two brothers, Jack Constantine, his wife, Louise, of Florida and Roy Constantine of Dublin. Bill was preceded in death by five siblings: Ada, Mary, Philip, Gerald and his twin brother, Eugene.
Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service 11 a.m. Monday, October 17, 2016, at Reed and Steinbach Funeral Home, 2335 Lower State Road, Doylestown, where the family will receive guests from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Doylestown Cemetery.
