Joseph Michael Terifay, a longtime resident of Doylestown died on Sunday, December 18 at Neshaminy Manor. He was 90 years old and the husband for more than fifty years of the late Ruth Jane Terifay, who passed in 2005.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Michael and Julia Jarka Terifay.

Joseph served in the Army during WW II, later graduating from LaSalle College in Philadelphia. He worked as an accountant for Catalytic, Inc., a Raytheon Corporation until his retirement in 1993.

He is survived by his three children: Mark, Lora and Paul Terifay, as well as his four granddaughters: Laura, Emily, Sarah and Grace Terifay.

Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral Mass, 11 a.m., Thursday, December 22, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 235 East State Street, Doylestown, where the family will receive guests from 10 a.m., until the time of Mass. Interment will follow Mass in Doylestown Cemetery.
